The Federal CIO Council and the Industry Advisory Council

Building upon the President's Management Agenda's theme of "simplify and unify," the 2004 Excellence.Gov Award focused on governance models used in E-Government projects that cross organizational boundaries. This award recognizes web-enabled programs with demonstrated ability in establishing and implementing successful governance models that delivered measurable results and advanced the state of electronic government.

L&M produces “Tax Talk Today” (www.TaxTalkToday.TV), which is sponsored in part by the IRS. The series of monthly interactive programs for tax practitioners is distributed via webcast, satellite broadcast, and videoconference. L&M was recognized for their outstanding contributions in providing quality and timely productions and innovative solutions to the IRS.

Tax Talk Today’s print ad achieved the highest “informative” score in comparison with 23 other ads and the highest “Composite Average” score in comparison with all other Tax & Accounting and Document & Practice Management ads measured in California CPA, January / February 2008 Issue (circulation 31,000).
